Parent/Guardian Communication

How ACP will and won't communicate with parents and guardians

  • ACP sends postcards to your home before each billing period to notify your parents/guardians ahead of time with information on methods of payments and due dates.
  • You will receive billing statements at the home address provided to IU by your high school.
  • You can provide parents/guardians with Third Party Access by going to the ACP Task Center within One.iu.edu.
  • College grades are protected under the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) and the fact that ACP students are still in high school or under 18 years of age has no impact on grade protection. Your consent is needed in order to share this information with parents or guardians.
  • Parents and Guardians can find out more information using this Student Handbook. Please share this with them.
